Entronn Video Player Terms of Use
Effective Date: September 15, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Entronn Video Player, including the WordPress plugin, player rendering service, related features, and supporting services provided by Entronn ("Entronn", "we", "us", or "our").
By installing, configuring, accessing, or using Entronn Video Player, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not install or use the Player.
1. About Entronn Video Player
Entronn Video Player is a WordPress video player that enables website owners to display and play video content, including HLS and MP4 video, through supported WordPress integrations.
Depending on the version and plan you use, the Player may provide features such as adaptive streaming, subtitles, playback controls, resume playback, advertising, sponsor links, signed URLs, domain restrictions, analytics, and other video playback functionality.
Some Player functionality may rely on services operated by Entronn or third-party providers.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You may use Entronn Video Player only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms.
If you install or use the Player on behalf of a company, organization, client, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" includes both you and the entity you represent.
3. License to Use the Plugin
Subject to these Terms and any applicable license terms associated with the version of the plugin you use, Entronn grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Entronn Video Player on websites that you own or are authorized to manage.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Player as your own product.
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices where prohibited.
- Attempt to bypass licensing, access controls, domain restrictions, or security mechanisms.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract proprietary components of Entronn's hosted services, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Use the Player to provide an unauthorized competing service.
- Use the Player in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law.
The plugin may include open-source components that are subject to their own licenses. Those licenses remain applicable to the relevant components.
4. Your Video Content
You are solely responsible for the videos, audio, images, subtitles, thumbnails, advertisements, sponsor links, URLs, and other content that you use with Entronn Video Player.
You represent that you have all rights, permissions, licenses, and legal authority necessary to host, stream, display, distribute, or otherwise make that content available through your website.
Entronn does not claim ownership of your video content.
You retain ownership of content that you provide or configure for use with the Player, subject to any rights granted to Entronn that are necessary to operate the service.
5. Copyright and Content Restrictions
You must not use Entronn Video Player to distribute, display, or facilitate access to content that:
- Infringes another person's intellectual property rights.
- You do not have permission to distribute or display.
- Violates applicable copyright, trademark, privacy, or other laws.
- Is unlawful or intended to facilitate unlawful activity.
- Attempts to exploit, attack, or compromise the Player, its rendering service, or related infrastructure.
- Contains malicious code intended to damage or interfere with systems or users.
Entronn may restrict or suspend access to Player services where we reasonably believe the service is being used for unlawful activity, abuse, infringement, security attacks, or serious violations of these Terms.
6. Video Hosting and Delivery
Entronn Video Player is a playback solution and is not, by default, a general-purpose video hosting service.
You are responsible for hosting your video files, HLS playlists, media segments, subtitles, posters, and other assets unless a particular Entronn product or feature expressly provides hosting or storage.
Video resources may be delivered directly from the hosting provider, CDN, object storage service, or other URL configured by you.
You are responsible for ensuring that your hosting and delivery infrastructure is properly configured and available.
Entronn does not guarantee that a third-party video host, CDN, storage provider, or URL will remain available or compatible with the Player.
7. Hosted Player Rendering Service
Some versions and configurations of Entronn Video Player use an Entronn-hosted player rendering service to generate and display the Player.
To provide playback, the service may process technical configuration information required to render the Player, including information such as video URLs, poster URLs, subtitle URLs, advertisement URLs, sponsor links, appearance settings, and playback configuration.
The handling of technical information and service logs is described in the Entronn Video Player Privacy Policy.
The hosted rendering service does not mean that Entronn automatically hosts or proxies your video content. Video resources may be requested directly by the visitor's browser from the URL configured by the website owner.
8. Third-Party Services
The Player may interact with third-party services selected or configured by you, including:
- Video hosting services
- CDNs
- Cloud storage providers
- Advertising providers
- VAST providers
- Sponsor or destination websites
- Analytics services
- Security and infrastructure providers
Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Entronn does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, security, or terms.
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the requirements of any third-party service you use with the Player.
9. Advertising and Sponsor Features
Entronn Video Player may allow you to display pre-roll, mid-roll, or post-roll advertisements, VAST advertisements, sponsor links, or other promotional content.
You are solely responsible for the advertisements and promotional content that you configure.
You must ensure that your advertising practices comply with applicable laws, advertising rules, platform requirements, and contractual obligations.
Entronn does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, legality, availability, or performance of advertisements or third-party sponsor content displayed through your implementation of the Player.
10. Privacy and User Consent
If you use Entronn Video Player on a website, you are responsible for determining what privacy notices, disclosures, consent mechanisms, or other legal requirements apply to your visitors.
This includes requirements relating to cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, third-party services, and personal information.
You must provide visitors with any disclosures and obtain any consent required by applicable law.
Entronn Video Player may use browser storage for features such as remembering playback progress. Your website may also use cookies, analytics tools, advertising technologies, or other services independently of the Player.
For information about Entronn's handling of information associated with the Player, see the Entronn Video Player Privacy Policy.
11. Signed URLs and Security Features
Certain Player features may provide signed URLs, domain restrictions, protected playlists, expiration controls, or related mechanisms designed to help protect video resources.
These features are security measures and are not a guarantee that video content cannot be copied, downloaded, recorded, redistributed, or otherwise accessed without authorization.
You are responsible for configuring security features correctly and protecting any signing keys, credentials, endpoints, or other sensitive configuration used with them.
Entronn is not responsible for security failures resulting from incorrect configuration, exposed credentials, compromised websites, insecure hosting, or third-party infrastructure.
12. Analytics
Certain versions or plans may provide video or advertising analytics.
Analytics may include information such as playback events, watch time, completion, progress, drop-off, ad impressions, or interactions.
You are responsible for using analytics features in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws and for providing any required notices or obtaining any required consent.
Analytics data may not always be complete or perfectly accurate due to browser restrictions, network conditions, ad blockers, device behavior, or other technical factors.
13. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Entronn Video Player and related services available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Player may depend on WordPress, browsers, hosting providers, CDNs, networks, third-party services, and other systems outside our control.
We may modify, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features of the Player or related services from time to time.
Where reasonably practical, we may provide notice of material changes to paid services or features.
14. Updates and Compatibility
The Player may receive updates that include bug fixes, security improvements, compatibility changes, performance improvements, or new features.
We do not guarantee compatibility with every WordPress version, theme, plugin, browser, hosting environment, CDN, video format, or third-party service.
You are responsible for maintaining compatible versions of WordPress, themes, plugins, hosting infrastructure, and related software.
Before applying major updates to a production website, you should maintain appropriate backups and test the updated Player where practical.
15. Pro and Paid Features
Certain features may require a paid plan, license, subscription, or other form of authorization.
Where applicable, paid features are subject to the pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and license terms presented at the time of purchase.
You may not share, transfer, resell, or misuse paid access, license keys, signing credentials, or other restricted access mechanisms except as expressly permitted by the applicable plan.
We may suspend or restrict paid features if a payment fails, a subscription expires, a license is revoked, or the account or service is otherwise used in violation of these Terms.
16. Free Features and Experimental Features
Some Player features may be provided free of charge or may be identified as beta, experimental, preview, or otherwise under development.
Free and experimental features are provided without a guarantee of continued availability.
We may modify or discontinue such features without liability to the extent permitted by law.
17. Intellectual Property
Entronn Video Player, including its software, hosted player technology, service infrastructure, branding, logos, documentation, designs, and other materials provided by Entronn, is owned by or licensed to Entronn and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Entronn's intellectual property to you.
Except for the limited rights expressly granted under these Terms or applicable open-source licenses, no rights are granted to you.
"Entronn" and related product names, logos, and branding may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or ownership without our permission.
18. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback about Entronn Video Player, you agree that Entronn may use that feedback to improve or develop its products and services without owing you compensation, provided that doing so does not disclose confidential information belonging to you.
19. Prohibited Use of the Service
You must not use Entronn Video Player or related services to:
- Attack, overload, disrupt, or interfere with Entronn infrastructure.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, APIs, endpoints, or services.
- Circumvent authentication, licensing, rate limits, domain restrictions, signatures, or other security controls.
- Distribute malware or malicious code.
- Conduct automated abuse, scraping, or excessive requests intended to degrade service.
- Use the service to facilitate fraud or other unlawful activity.
- Misrepresent your identity or authorization.
- Interfere with another user's use of the service.
We may take reasonable technical or administrative measures to protect the Player, its users, and our infrastructure from abuse.
20. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Entronn Video Player at any time by removing the plugin and discontinuing use of related services.
Entronn may suspend or terminate access to hosted Player services if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the service, create a security risk, engage in unlawful activity, or otherwise create a significant risk to Entronn, its infrastructure, or other users.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve a violation before suspension or termination.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and applicable legal provisions, will survive termination.
21. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Entronn Video Player and related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Entronn does not guarantee that the Player or related services will:
- Always be available.

- Prevent unauthorized copying or redistribution of video content.
- Meet every particular business or technical requirement.
- Produce uninterrupted playback under all network or device conditions.
You use the Player at your own discretion and risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Entronn and its officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the Player.
This includes losses resulting from:
- Video hosting or delivery failures.

To the extent permitted by law, Entronn's total liability arising from or relating to the Player will be limited to the amount you paid to Entronn for the applicable Player service during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
23. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Entronn and its officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from:

Entronn does not control those websites or services and does not guarantee their availability, accuracy, security, legality, or privacy practices.
Your interactions with third-party websites and services are governed by their applicable terms and policies.
25. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Entronn is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will be subject to the courts having appropriate jurisdiction under applicable law.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer protections or dispute rights, nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit those rights.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Player, our services, legal requirements, or business practices.
When we make material changes, we may update the effective date and provide reasonable notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of Entronn Video Player after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
28. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable product-specific terms, license terms, pricing terms, and the Entronn Video Player Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement between you and Entronn regarding your use of Entronn Video Player, unless a separate written agreement applies.
